Use industrial endoscopes for electric vehicle maintenance and maintenance, saving time and effort

2023-02-02

In recent years, electric vehicles, as the vanguard of modern new energy vehicles, have attracted more and more attention. In addition to Tesla, which has been in the limelight since its launch, domestic manufacturers BYD, Changan, Geely, BAIC and other major brands are also competing to develop their own electric vehicles, and the market can be described as surging.

As the sales of electric vehicles increase, the share of the automotive aftermarket is gradually shifting from traditional vehicles to electric vehicles. Industrial endoscopes, which have played a huge role in traditional car maintenance, have gradually made great progress in the field of electric vehicle inspection.

The motor drive system of electric vehicles mainly includes: motor stator winding faults, stator core faults, rotor body faults, bearing faults, etc. These types of faults may cause rotor eccentricity to generate unbalanced magnetic pull, cause vibration, and eventually lead to The motor is damaged, causing the motor drive system of the electric vehicle to collapse, thereby affecting the operation of the entire locomotive.

Industrial videoscopes can regularly maintain electric vehicles without the need to disassemble parts, which not only saves time and maintenance costs, but also ensures the service life of each part. And the operation is simple and convenient. It can be observed through the external display screen, and the possible fault areas inside the parts can be easily found out, and the observation area can be photographed and recorded in real time, which is very useful for future inspections. Operators can conduct specific analysis based on the location and seriousness of the fault, and quickly find a solution.

Electric vehicles have high requirements on the sealing of components, so the electronic control unit is generally sealed with an aluminum box to ensure a high level of protection. Very difficult and very time consuming. The electronic control unit usually reserves a threaded observation hole of about 10mm. We use the 3.8mm pipeline in front of the industrial endoscope to extend into the inner cavity to detect the internal detection situation and see if there is any erosion of the circuit board, or It is very convenient to check whether other parts are damaged or fall off.
